Select and watch a persuasive TedTalk that interests you and analyze it by writing a 1-2page report that explores persuasion and Monroes Motivated Sequence. Your paper should address each of the following concepts. Failure to clearly address each of the topics will result in a grade deduction. This homework is worth 50 points.
- List and define each of the steps in Monroes Motivated Sequence and identify how your selected TedTalk uses each of these steps. If your selected TedTalk does not use Monroes Motivated Sequence, please select a different TedTalk to analyze.
- Discuss whether this presentation uses logos, ethos, and/or pathos. Give examples to support your answer/s.
- What could the speaker do differently to better engage the audience and make the presentation more effective?
