The homework requires analytical solutions (please create a .pdf file for these: not other file format will be accepted), and one Matlab .m file and one Stata .do file. Please put all of these items into a single .zip (no other compression methodology will be accepted) folder for your submission. IMPORTANT NOTE: For problem 3 of the HW you will not be able to match the statistics for Japan, since given historical data revisions I updated the data for this country since I set up the notes. You should, however, be able to match the data for all other countries.
