Theoretical Perspectives and Interventions

1)    Identify and describe a theoretical perspective that guides the intervention you have chosen for your program.
      i) Briefly explain this theoretical perspective and your rationale for choosing it.
2)    Explain how the interventions support this theoretical perspective.
3)    Explain analyze how the program addresses or corrects the problem from a micro, mezzo and macro system level.

Please refer to your readings that analyze the needs of clients in order to develop appropriate goals and design interventions and evaluate the organizational structures of communities in relation to social service partnership and collaboration, to discuss the tenets of organizational management, supervision and professional development of staff and describe the tenets of program design, planning, implementation and evaluation.

You will review psychological and social theoretical perspectives and explore how these theories match up with your identified program interventions from Doc 5 (attached). You will address how interventions help to correct the needs of the target population you are serving.
You should be able to:
    Identify a theoretical perspective that guides intervention programs.
    Explain how interventions support theoretical perspectives.
    Identify psychological or social theories related to micro, mezzo or macro interventions.
    Address how interventions help to correct the needs of the target population.
