This paper will be a formal research paper written based upon the research you have done . In this paper you will identify and research a behavioral health or health disparity facing a specific population of citizens. Through this, you must identify a specific population of peoples and a specific health problem where we see a health inequity. You must research this problem to determine the extent of the problem, and how this problem can impact the functioning of individuals and communities. You must also identify the possible causes of the problem and choose a set of variables (more important causes of the disparity) to focus on and address. PLEASE review the rubric if you follow the rubric you will get a much better score.
Proper referencing and appropriate use of grammar, punctuation, spelling and paragraphing are expected. • Double space formatting is expected, using 12 inch font and one inch margins • Number your pages and use a header or footer to identify your name • Expected length of the proposal is 11-13 pages, inclusive of title page and list of references

Introduction in which the disparity being presented is DEFINED and a brief argument is made as to why the problem you identified is IMPORTANT and how it is a disparity for the population you have selected.
SECTIONS 3 & 4 3. Literature Review: Here you provide a very detailed review of the relevant literature with proper REFERENCING. You should focus on the following: a. Quality references adequate to support your writing (e.g. current professional journals, major newspapers or sources available at reputable websites). b. A logical, well-organized presentation of the literature c. Objective discussion of the issue being presented (citing various positions, pros/cons; other alternatives considered etc). 4. Interpretation: This section is where you can be creative. You can talk about your own personal perspective about the paper topic. You can talk about your own personal experience with the paper topic in your family or your circle of friends and how it affected you. You can provide additional information that you think is important to the paper but doesn’t have another place to put it. You can include a diagram, or pictures or table/graph. Whatever you think will help to make your paper more interesting and personal.
SECTIONS 5 & 6 5. Comprehensive Plan: In this section you present the comprehensive plan you have developed to address the health disparity issue you chose. You can focus on the plan you developed for your group presentation, but can also add to it or adapt it if you have independent ideas not yet presented. 6. Develop a Conclusion and Implications section to tie together what you have found in your research of this topic. Articulate in this section some conclusions and implications for what you found based on what you found in your research and on the info you provided in the interpretation section.
