Assignment Instructions:
You are required to answer the following questions. You should save your answers in a Word document for submission. Make sure to include your name and student id number and the question as part of the Assignment response. For each assignment, you are expected to answer the assigned questions in your own words. Each assignment paper should be at least 350 words.
For your assignment, make sure to write in an essay format with complete sentences. The submission should be in paragraph form with clear topic sentences and all items from the questions addressed.
Training
Develop an orientation program for high school graduates entering Hospitality and Tourism Management at university as Freshman. The goal of your orientation should be for students to learn about your MAJOR (not necessarily the university). Review the section on orientation in the textbook and develop a detailed outline of what you think would be important for the students to learn about the major at university
- List the items that you believe need to be included in the orientation and explain why they should be included . List the method that you would use to deliver each specific informational item (lecture, programmed instruction, etc,) and explain, in detail why you selected that method for that specific topic.(hint – think about how to make the orientation effective and achievable).
- Create an orientation checklist. Be sure to include specific details that would apply to Hospitality and Tourism Management major.
