Transgender & public restrooms

Public Restrooms

Transgender people should have the same rights as any other person have. They should be able to feel safe and comfortable to do whatever they want, especially in the restroom. It is so wrong that for years transgender people have been fighting for these rights that are simple things others do daily. Beyond fighting for rights for the restroom, fighting got rights to be able to marry the one they love, fighting got their country, using the preferred restroom of choice.
The most basic thing any human can do is use a public restroom, but to transgender its a constant fight and pain to do. Transgender people often avoid using public restrooms altogether because of their fear of being assaulted or harassed in a public restroom. Transgender people are constantly experiencing high rates of harassment and violence when being forced to use bathrooms of the gender that they were assigned at birth.
