Part I: Transportation & Corona Virus Pandemic [40pts] Please review the assignment rubric posted in Canvas. As we all know life has changed drastically due to COVID-19. The transportation industry has also been drastically affected. From travel-based industries such as airlines and the cruise industry, COVID-19 has threatened their very livelihood. Other industries such as the freight industry are as critical as ever. Select a specific area of transportation (e.g. transit, airlines, cruise, etc.) and identify one current newsworthy article related to the area you selected, which speaks to transportation and the pandemic.

Use the selected topic and article as a guide to responding to the prompts:
I. Discuss the impact that COVID-19 has on the transportation industry that you selected.
II.Transportation is a lifeline but can also be an agent spreading the disease. Research how your industry is adjusting to life with the Coronavirus. What lasting and long-term changes do you see taking place?
III.Lastly, how do you think Intelligent TransportationSystems can minimize the impact of a global pandemic has on the transportation industry?
