Assessment Format
This is an open book assessment. The examiners will be expecting answers similar to those produced under examination conditions, not long essays. Please use in-text citations to indicate source material where appropriate and provide a bibliography that includes full references for your cited sources. Citations and references will be excluded from the word count.
Word Limit
The word limit is 1,000 words per question.
You will have to answer two questions.
QUESTION 1

Using examples, discuss the role and importance of teams in organisations, highlighting (i) the steps involved in building effective teams and (ii) the importance of individual team roles in maintaining effective teams.
QUESTION 2
What do you understand by the term transformational leadership? Compare and contrast this with another style of leadership and, using examples, discuss the role and importance of leadership in organisations.
