Your analysis would obviously first include a summary explanation of the doctrine. But also expand the context and trace how the doctrine was developed and why. Was it simply a useful and necessary summary of scripture? Was it a reactionary response to other contradictory teachings? How did the doctrine assist Christians then and now? Finally, answer the question whether all Christians (pretty much) accept the doctrine, or if there are some who formed a new branch of Christianity based on a belief contrary to the one youre investigating.
