- The name of the organization, its goals, and the mission statement
- An overview of the social problem(s) this organization focuses on
- Its history
- The organizations structure (where is it located, how many members does it have, and what tactics do they use?)
- Major campaigns or issues they focus on and a description of the issues
- Solutions they propose for these issues/Approaches to the issues
- Any programs or outreach they promote/run
- Major successes
Guidelines: The Research Paper:
- Must be five to seven double-spaced pages and formatted according to APA style as outlined on the course description page
- Must include an introductory paragraph with a succinct thesis statement
- Must address the topic of the paper with critical thought
- Must conclude with a restatement of the thesis and a conclusion paragraph
