After reading George Washington’s Farewell Address (find on Internet/Google), provide a brief bullet point memo outlining recommendations based off what Washington shared regarding the CURRENT state of our nation. There should be at least two major points you convey. This could be foreign and/or domestic/economic policy, debt, political culture, political parties, morality, or anything else you find that may be relevant and helpful to the US today but be SPECIFIC in your own words. After reading Ch. 14 in the text and staying abreast of some news events you should have plenty of material to base your thoughts. Since we are in a presidential election year with two septuagenarians running for president, perhaps some points of advice for both might be applicable.
