Taps and Customers Both Turned Off

This downriver microbrewery attempt falls short. While the prices are low, the quality is SO-SO.

Beers were very non-descript and two of the taps ran out before we were seated. Not big deal if you don’t mind waiting 3 weeks for an IPA. The lager tap tasted a bit dirty. The Winter Ale was very bland. The pilsner was nice and crisp, one of the better offerings but ran out after the first sampler on a Friday night. Who’s managing this place?

The food was a decent value but nothing to write home about. The French dip (aka brewery dip) was quite good, but the au jus needed more flavor. The Cuban sandwich was a nice touch with real pork loin, but the pork was very dry and the sandwich had virtually no seasoning

The wait staff was trying hard, but their boss stacked the deck against them by being massively understaffed and packing the tables so close together you couldn’t walk through the dining room without accidentally getting goosed. One harried bartender was responsible for the entire 50-foot-long bar. The wait staff ran their little tushes off and looked really stressed. The tight tables set up an accident waiting to happen.

Not a bad place or value for someone who has never been to microbrewery before. For your beer aficionados and foodies – steer clear.
