This is AN ACTION RESEARCH PROJECT, MIDTERM ASSIGNMENT; students will be graded on a five-part (5) rubric which will focus on FORMAT, SPECIFICATIONS, ORGANIZATION, STRENGTH OF ANALYSIS, and WRITING MECHANICS for a total of 25-point scale.
The Midterm paper will be a minimum of 3 to 4 typewritten pages, double-spaced, 12-point TIMES NEW ROMAN font, using MLA or APA format. The paper will include an additional COVER PAGE AND WORKS-CITED/REFERENCE SECTION. The paper should include an INTRODUCTION, a BODY section with analysis and synthesis of the topic examined, explained, and evaluated. The paper should summarize, link, and compare the chosen literature divided into well-structured sub-sections/paragraphs and a CONCLUDING STATEMENT summarizing the essential elements of the topic and chosen points. Organization must be clearly structured and planned and reflect an understanding of the topic. The paper must contain a developing argument for a research study based on analysis of AT LEAST FIVE (5) RESEARCH ARTICLES. The paper should provide a concise and brief synthesis of the chosen research literature. The articles selected must be aligned, well thought out, detailed, and supported through demonstrated understanding of the research literature. The conclusion summarizes essential elements of the research paper. All in all, the paper should be mechanically sound and effective writinglogical, clear, precise, and concise.
