Once you have chosen your three street art images, please plan to include the following elements in your actual 3-page essay:
– Identify and summarize what each image is trying to teach or share with viewers.
– Identify the strategies used by the artists to prove their visual arguments. Stated differently, what elements are present in images that you chose that promote the perspective of the three artists? – – What elements fail to advance their perspectives? – Based on the what you discover and learn from the images, decide which street art image is most effective. This is followed by who is the second most effective and then finally the least effective art piece. Your Essay 1 is like a YouTube review where the content creator ranks a group of products. In product reviews, they make these decisions and then explain their reasons. This is what you will do. Do you like or dislike what the artist has done? Or, could the image be better? You are making a judgment or having an opinion about the the three images and ranking the effectiveness of your set of three images. Your focus is on whether the street art accomplishes the artists’ goal.
