Some people would agree with the statement that marriage is no longer necessary, but I happen to disagree with this. Marriage is necessary because it can help with mental health, give you the opportunity to make a commitment to one person by making them your husband or wife, and you never know when you’ll lose the one you love.
I believe that marriage gives a chance for an individual to be healthier and live longer. The satisfaction of raising a family gives an individual the desire to press on and make much wiser choices. Not only lean on each other for emotional support but financial support. It does not mean that problems may not occur, they even happen in any relationship. However, when an individual is united in marriage, they can face them stronger together and emerge successfully.
If you find the right person, marriage can be something amazing and beautiful. Having the opportunity to make a lifelong commitment to someone, loving them, supporting them, and helping them grow as a person. Marriage is to give a couple the chances to enjoy the splendor of their love. Marriage was designed to provide the fabric of society. Being united in the union of
marriage allows lovers to share their lives together and even raise families. The joy of love extends to the children and the generations that they eventually bring forth. Therefore, I think that marriage is still a good thing.
I thought I had found that person and it was the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced. She was my best friend, biggest supporter, and I believe she was my soulmate. We were engaged to be married. I felt my heart was completely full. We had an amazing relationship. We leaned on each other for support. Unfortunately, she is no longer here to share
this dream with me but that does not defer me from still believing in marriage. I pray that one day I will find another opportunity to share my hand in marriage with someone. No one will ever be her, but I know that she would still want me to pursue my dreams and if she were here, she would still support me regardless of what is going on. To me that is what marriage is about the
unconditional love and support from another person.
