There are 17 principles of Environmental Justice articulated in the first reading. Choose three
principles of Environmental Justice from the list, quote each of them, and discuss the following
on each of them:
1. Why do you think its important in the face of the ecological crisis?
2. Provide an example or examples on each of the principle of Environmental Justice from
readings on this course, or other readings you have done, or from your own experiences
3. In your conclusion, consider the concept of land repatriation (on reading # 2) and
explain why you think returning land to indigenous peoples is an important component of
environmental justice.
