submit a five-to-six page paper (roughly ~1250 word research paper (double-spaced, Chicago Manual of Style formatting and citations). The second paper will cover a soldier from World War II. The student should also include an explanation (one-to-two paragraphs and/or images/mock-ups) of how they would design a memorial to World War II casualties and/or veterans. Students are encouraged to be creative in their designs.
