Description: Please read the following vignette, then answer the questions below in essay format. Sarah and Nadeem have been married for 11 years. They have two young children and a beautiful, expensive, newly-remodeled house. Nadeem is a struggling entrepreneur while Sarah is a successful lawyer. Sarah is resentful of Nadeem’s inability to contribute to the household finances. After 11 years, she has had enough. Nadeem is resentful of Sarah’s inability to have faith in his future. The strain becomes too great, and they contemplate divorce.  What could lead to reconciliation?

Based on your knowledge of the dissolution and loss of relationships, analyze this vignette by answering the questions below in a 3-4 page paper.

  1. What predictors of divorce seem to be most prominent in Sarah and Nadeem’s relationship?
  2. What behaviors might Sarah and Nadeem have exhibited as their decision to divorce evolved? Consider every stage in the steps to divorce.
