Task 1 is to build me your dream computer. This will consist of several parts. I will accept responses only in Excel, Word or pdf!
Task section
Part A. is to create a document that gives your requirements as we have discussed in class. This is a written by you for me to explain your needs and possible wants in regards to your hardware, software, and networking requirements/communications needs.
Part B is to create the specifications for both the software and hardware of your computer system. Provide the specifications of the major software you plan on using, and the hardware you will need to make it work properly.
Part C is to build a Bill Of Materials (BOM) that will support your vision of what you dream computer system would be. Your BOM must include estimated costs as well as time frames for delivery of those components. Some of these will be estimates that may be closer to guesses on your part; however, if you look hard enough you may actually find them.
Part D. You must provide me with a Cover document explaining what you did, why you did it and how this device will interact with your work-life.
Your research will be extensive and time consuming! Using resources you have never even heard of in many cases, if you intend to provide sufficient data to support your ideas and concepts.
Failure to complete all parts and questions in this Task/Exam will result in a much reduced grade!
