Do the following in this week’s case discussion forum:

  1. Collaborate with your peers in this week’s case discussion forum to research the m-commerce strategy of Alibaba and its major competitor Tencent. 
  2. What can you find out about their plans?
  3. Are these plans accessible and transparent enough for investors to make sound decisions?
  4. What information is important for potential investors to have?

This collaborative research activity should provide you the foundation you’ll need to conduct your analysis of the case.

  1. Give your analysis of Alibaba’s m-commerce strategy and the transparency of their plans for potential investors.
