One important skill necessary for online student success is professionalism. Professionalism can be demonstrated in many different ways, but when it comes to interacting online, your interactions are all based on choices that make up your Personal Brand.

For this week’s post, evaluate your current personal brand. Some important questions to address include:

  • What are you passionate about?
  • What sets you apart?
  • How would people describe you if you are not in the room?

Then consider how you present your brand in your online communications – in class, on social media, via email, etc. Are you presenting a different brand across multiple platforms?

Finally, brainstorm at least two ways you can work to align and/or improve your personal brand online.
