Both John Smith and William Bradford established and led their respective colonies in different parts of the American New World. After having read the assigned excerpts from their narratives, discuss how Smith and Bradford differ with regards to their leadership styles, their interactions with fellow settlers and/or native peoples, and how each attributes the role of divine providence in the daily affairs of the settlement he leads.
