Marketing in the healthcare industry is important for advertising new medication or supplies that may help improve the quality of life for many of the patients. “Marketing aims at improving the health and well- being of an individual, group, or the whole society.” (Aoud & Ayed, 2017). This helps our patients to see and encounter new types of assistance or medication that could potentially give them better quality of life.

It is important for healthcare managers to understand the factors of marketing concepts in order to effectively communicate and educate the patients properly and efficiently while showing patient value.  This is important now because we have the resources and opportunities to help advertise and educate our patients with multiple options creating a change for the healthcare industry today.

Marketing in healthcare today is such a common concept that hospitals and medical facilities have their own marketing teams to help bring in revenue and potential clients. This helps patients and the healthcare industry grow for the better. As long as we use marketing as a tool for good and not evil, I believe success will follow “Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalms 37:3-4). As we continue to serve our God we should always follow in His footsteps and not be tempted by evil. God will always provide a way for us to prosper and not fail. It is crucial to keep faith especially during these times of COVID-19 while some individuals may not have access to certain medical care or even access to communal worship. This puts a strain on the community and as healthcare professionals we should be doing all that we can to help alleviate some of that burden.
