Visual Aid Persuasive Speech Instruction

Topic: Financial literacy

The 3-4 main points on the persuasive presentation slides must match 3-4 main points on your Persuasive Outline.

Presentation Format:

Cover Slide with student name and topic.

There must be a topic typed into the title section of each slide.

There must be a photo that represents the topic. You are required to use only photos from e Library, CultureGrams and Encyclopedia Britannica. NO Google photos or photos taken by you, a friend, or a family member are allowed because we cannot prove them legal for your use.

For each slide, you must include a notes section that describes the visual contents (photo and text) of the current slide.

The cover slide should include your name, you your topic, and at least one photo, image or chart to represent your topic with either a credit line below the image or the MLA or APA citation of that photo.

For your image, graphic or chart, you are required to use only photos from e Library, CultureGrams and Encyclopedia Britannica. NO Googled .com photos or photos taken by you, a friend, or a family member are allowed because we cannot prove them legal for your use.

For each slide, you must include a notes section that describes the visual contents (photo and text) of the current slide. State what image is shown, why that image supports your claim, and how the image relates to the your topic.

Works Cited Slide

In MLA format, list all the photo citations alphabetically.

In the Notes section: Describe the visual contents (text, identifying MLA). State how they are listed alphabetically when there is more than one source. State that the photo citations prevent(s) legal issue(s) such as plagiarism, copyright infringement and potential lawsuits.

Attach as a Microsoft Office document or an Adobe.pdf. Do not use .slides, .key, .pages, g docs or the like.

Note: Read the directions before submitting.

The directions reveal that you CAN use a photo for each main point.

However, one good photo to represent your topic will do. It can even be used repeatedly on more than one slide.

Do not forget your MLA or APA citation for each photo.
