Family Pedigree Project
Through the use of their understanding of Mendelian traits, students will complete at least a 3-generation pedigree for one of the provided traits (e.g., widow’s peak, connected or disconnect earlobes).
Be sure to label the pedigree correctly (generation, male/female, etc.) according to the practice done previously.
List of common Mendelian traits:
- Blood type
- Tongue Roller
- Widow’s Peak
- Straight or Hitchiker’s Thumb
- Connected/Disconnected Earlobes
