“President Woodrow Wilson led the United States to involvement in World War I through a combination of legalism (going by the “rules”), moralism (arguing that some actions were more “wrong” than others), and idealism (contending that war “should” not be fought just to defeat an enemy).” Questions:  Describe Wilson’s (1) legalism, (2) moralism, and (3) idealism from 1914 to 1917; then (4) explain the consequences of his idealism once the war had ended.  Use specific information to support your answer.
