The purpose is for the students to create a sales pitch deck.

Students will utilize technique learned in the visualization section as well as the Kawasaki presentation principles in developing a slide presentation.

Pitch Deck
- Watch any episode of sharktank and product you find interesting. Create a Kawasaki pitch book based on the presentation. You are free to make any assumptions about the data you like (such as sales, forecasts, financials, etc.)
- Here are some of the more successful Sharktank products
- Make sure to provide the reference of the sharktank episode in your presentation.
Tasks
- Students will create a pitch deck utilizing the 10-20-30 presentation technique
- All visuals will be required to follow visualization techniques of Tufte and Few. All visuals must be created in Tableau.
- Students are required to describe how they would present the pitch in the notes section of powerpoint
- This assignment is only the pitch deck not the presentation
Criteria
The assignment will be 100 points.
- 50% on pitch cohesiveness and presentation
- 50% on Visuals
