CLASSMATE’S DISCUSSION
I loved the part on being prepared and the student-centered learning. I think I do a good job of student-centered learning, but I still have, based on the book a long way to go to have an effective student-centered learning classroom. Student centered learning and differentiated instruction needs to continue to grow and become the norm as opposed to the exceptions in school especially if we want to continue to educate kids and have kids be excited about school and be able show mastery. If we want all these things, then our teaching styles must change to suit the style of our students.
