Group Assignment: Results section in Layman Terms
The goal of this assignment is for your group to better understand and interpret the results section of Journal articles (critical evaluation)
Instructions:
Please write your results section of your journal article, in layman’s terms. Write it so that someone not in the medical or cancer field can understand exactly what the researchers observed from their results. Critically evaluate the results. Remember that you can use google to help look up how certain experiments are done and the information that they can generate. For example, if the researchers used flow cytometry for their experiments. What does the grouping of Annexin V in the lower right quadrant of the flow cytometry graph mean? What do the other quadrants mean. What does the flow cytometry results overall mean for that cell line compared to the others that were used. Make sure you critically evaluate the results section.
Also remember to explain the results section during your journal club presentation
