CAT: Class, stakeholders are very important to consider when making changes. For example, if you change the way we have our admission process, stakeholders such as physician groups who do direct admissions need to have input. Without their input for a smooth process, they can decide to take business elsewhere. Stakeholders can also help us to recognize issues that can be potentially dangerous to quality patient care. When creating change, it is helpful to make a list of who the stakeholders are. They can be external or internal. Who are some of your stakeholders?
