Let’s Get Dirty is the Activity
On Parent night I will have the parent and student sign in by stamping there hands in some red foam paint (which will be germs). I will hand them a Let’s get dirty kit, which will include a large bowl, water, a hand towel and some hand washing soap. They will go to a table which will have a cd player at the table, push the cd on and play the cd. They parent will pour water in the bowl and they both will wash away the red foam (germs) . The one who washes the germs away first will win.
This activity is important because it teaches the importance of hand washing. Hand washing is important because it reduces sickness from colds and flu, reduce diarrhea and vomiting.

the nutrition and health of children and protects children and staff from illness and injury. Standard #5 in the NAEYC Early Childhood Program Standards document
