Question: Based on the evidence or the clues in the story, does it seem that Honghui realizes at some point along the way that this soldier (who is Mulan) is female, and not male? If so, when does does Honghui get this? Or, does he not know until the same time as the rest of them?
If Honghui does realize it, why doesn’t he say anything, at least to her, since she would be in no position to call him a liar?
And if he does not realize it, why is he so persistent in his efforts to be Mulan’s friend?
