Evaluate some of the seminal issues related to supervising research degrees. This is oftentimes an area where very little is known outside of the higher education context. What issues did you see revealed in this reading and how do you see this process evolving and changing in the next five to ten years? What new leadership is needed to make effective leadership in this area a real possibility?
