Part A- 300 words
Summarizing and Note Taking
How will you teach your students to summarize and take notes? What are some new practices involving technology that you may want to try out? How will you make homework more purposeful and aligned with the objectives you are teaching? In what ways do you involve or would like to involve the family of the student when assigning homework? Make sure to provide examples from your teaching or personal learning experiences.
Part B-\Formative and Summative Assignments
In this assignment, instead of writing in essay-form, use a nonlinguistic representation (graphic organizer, model, pictures, diagrams, etc) to demonstrate the difference between formative and summative assessments. At the bottom of the page or on a new page, explain in 300- to 400- words in paragraph form how you would use summative and formative assessment in a lesson or series of lessons. Adhering to APA guidelines, refer to your text and 1-3 outside resources for this assignment. Be sure to cite your sources.
