single-spaced paper in
a structured essay format answering all of the questions that appear at
the end of each Article.
week’s paper prompt. The number of paragraphs in your paper should
correspond to the
number of questions asked in the prompt. But, your paper should
always have at
minimum an introductory paragraph, one paragraph to for each
question asked in the
prompt, and a conclusion paragraph. Your paper must conform to the
following basic
structure:
1st paragraph: introduction
2nd paragraph: answer question #1
3rd paragraph: answer question #2
4th paragraph: answer question #3
5th paragraph: if needed for additional question
6th paragraph: if needed for additional question
Final paragraph: conclusion
Your paper may be longer than 5 paragraphs, which means you can
use more than one
paragraph to answer each question if you wish, but you should still
answer each question sequentially, i.e. your paper should still follow
the introduction, question 1, question 2, question 3, conclusion format.
Please note however that papers longer than 3 pages may incur
length deductions. A good rule of thumb is to stay within a +/-10%
margin of the length requirement.
