Write an Argumentative Essay following the instructions below. Failure to follow any of these instructions will affect your grade.
1- Type of essay: Argumentative
2- Select one of the following topics:
Should animals be used in experiments/testing?
Does traditional and online education provide students with the same quality of knowledge?
Should college students be allowed to study only the subjects they choose?
Global lockdown as one of the main reasons for rising divorce rates.
Does love always make a person happy?
3- Failure to use one of these topics will result in losing 50 points automatically.
4- The essay should have five (5) paragraphs and no fewer than 500 words.
5- Format: APA
6- The Thesis Statement must be clear at the end of the first paragraph and must include the 2 points to support your claim. These two points will be developed in paragraphs 2 and 3.
E.g. Americans should reduce the regular consumption of fast food because it leads to health issues, such as diabetes (point 1) and heart disease (point 2).
7- The essay must have a counterargument paragraph (paragraph 4).
8- Support your evidence with at least 3 credible/reliable sources. Do NOT use Wikipedia.
9- Include at least one in-text citation in paragraphs 2, 3, and 4, not in the Conclusion.
10- Rough draft due date: Sunday, October 9, at 11:59 pm.
11- Final draft due date: Sunday, October 16, at 11:59 pm.
12- Similarity (Originality Report): Up to 25% of similarity will be accepted with no penalty. One (1) point will be deducted for each percentage above 25%.
13- You must use the APA format exactly as it is; otherwise, you will lose points automatically and as per the rubric.
14- I recommend that you do not use Microsoft Word online as you may find difficulties with the MLA format and/or uploading the essay to Blackboard. Use, instead, Microsoft Word installed in a computer.
15- Please, attach your essay by clicking on the Attachment Icon (Paperclip symbol). Do not copy and paste it. Follow the instructions in the video “How to Submit Your Essay” attached.
16- Do not submit your Final Draft of the Exemplification Essay until you receive a feedback.
17- The Final Draft MUST be the same essay you submit as your Rough Draft.
18- You have plenty of time and information to write and submit your essay by the due date, so no excuses will be accepted.
