- Use APA 7th Edition to format the paper.
- Provide the following information about the ten (10) articles including summarizing the following sections. Reference back to the Guidelines for Evaluating a Research Article to determine if the authors addressed each section.
- Title – Add the title of each article at the top of the page.
- Database – In your words, provide a brief description of the database where you found the peer-reviewed article. For example, if you used ABI/INFORM Global, give a description of the database. It should appear on the website.
- Abstract – Summarize the abstract. Did the author include the minimum requirements for the abstract? If not, what was missing.
- Introduction – Write two to three paragraphs. Did the author include the minimum requirements for the Introduction? If not, what was missing. Paraphrase and give the author credit for their ideas.
- Method – Write two to three paragraphs. Did the author include the minimum requirements in the Methods section? If not, what was missing. Paraphrase and give the author credit for their ideas.
- Results – Write two to three paragraphs. Did the author include the minimum requirements in the Results section? If not, what was missing. Paraphrase and give the author credit for their ideas.
- Discussion – Write two to three paragraphs. Did the author include the minimum requirements in the Discussion section? If not, what was missing. Paraphrase and give the author credit for their ideas.
- References – Write two to three paragraphs. Discuss the types of references in the articles. Were they peer-reviewed journal articles? Did they adhere to the APA guidelines?
- Conclusion – Write two paragraphs. Discuss the group’s experience analyzing published research. What is easy or difficult? How can you use the information in future courses?
- Do not use bullets to write the paper. You must write a paragraph with complete sentences.
- Include in-text citations and a matching reference to support your arguments.
- Do Not Use blogs and Internet links as a primary source.
- Do Not Use dissertations because they are not peer-reviewed journals or scholarly sources.
- Do Not Use Textbooks for this project.
