Assessment 2B: Evaluation Presentation
Through the remainder of the term, you will concentrate on providing an evaluation plan for your proposed intervention. It is strongly encouraged that
you make use of opportunities provided during the tutorial sessions. Please note, everyone in the group must contribute and participate towards the
group assessment. Each individual’s contribution to the group assessment will be assessed and will contribute to their mark for the assessment. In
addition, through a 500-word submission, you will be required to write a brief summary of your contribution to the project.
Throughout the term, teams will plan a public health intervention that
Presents a logic model
Provides an evaluation plan including data collection, analysis and dissemination
Defines how Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander sections of the community are incorporated and how to ensure that their voices are heard
Identifies strategies developed for the intervention
Offers an opportunity for reflection on effective partnership development
This assessment consists of two components:
1. Group presentation of your public health intervention evaluation plan
2. Individual contribution to the group assessment.
Presentation:
Team members collectively contribute to the public health intervention planning and evaluation process. Opportunities to develop the presentation will
be provided during tutorials.
The second presentation provides an understanding of your team’s evaluation plan of your public health intervention. Presentation should be 10
minutes in duration. Presenters will be stopped if they go over 10 minutes. Submission of your presentation includes slides, transcript and
background notes supporting your presentation. Every student should upload their group presentation via Moodle.
If you are working individually, the 500 word reflection on the development of your submission should consider any limitations and advantages of
working individually vs as a team.
