Think and talk like a nurse. Use a situation of working your first psych unit but patient also had something else medical going on and receiving a septic patient with no orders, receiving no help from the other staff while working a travel assignment, and all labs abnormal, receiving an unsafe staffing ration, and the policy of the unit made me uncomfortable. the unit with receive blood for a blood transfusion from a tube station that’s placed outside the unit with no warming of incoming alert or call from the blood bank. And that being my first psych unit assignment. plus they would float me to the trauma unit before receiving trauma experience
